Blair Pettigrew, AIA is a licensed architect and LEED green associate who has 20 years of experience designing and managing primarily high end custom modern homes. After schooling at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. he began his formative years working for the prestigious Lubowicki Lanier Architects in El Segundo, Ca. then for a top tier multidisciplinary firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios in Hollywood, Ca. He developed a reputation as a clear thinking creative designer adept at construction detailing and construction administration as well as a positive communicator. This put him at the front line of management and since 2009 he has been working solely for a confidential “hollywood” family designing and managing their projects as well as acting as their representative. Wearing the owner’s shoes has added a valuable dimension to his professional experience.
His core values hinge on communication, trust, creativity, and leadership. Recently he has been focusing on how 3D modeling technology can be used to optimize green building techniques and move straight into construction documents, streamlining the process while providing visualization for clients.
Jill Kumamoto has an eye for spatial relationships, form, color, and texture that inform every aspect of her life, including her architectural designs.
Jill has more than 20 years of experience managing retail and commercial projects of all sizes and shapes in cities all over the world, including from Santa Monica, Paris, Shanghai, and Dubai. Even when working in her first architectural firm while attending the University of Southern California, her skills in management became evident. She excels at foresight, planning, and communication which brought her to awarding winning firms such as Gruen Associates and J.T. Nakaoka Associates Architects where she is the Director of Production and Project Management.
She prides herself in clarity of communication and becomes a valuable ally to all parties in projects. Her natural “judgment free” demeanor “oils” communication lines and helps bolster another one of her core values, that the most successful projects are those that are conceived and executed out of a team effort.
